Spotlight: Carrier Air Wing Four (CVW-4)
A U.S. Naval DCS Coalition Built on Story, Brotherhood, and Air Superiority
If you’re looking for something deeper than just another DCS server rotation, it might be time to take a serious look at Carrier Air Wing Four (CVW-4).
CVW-4 is a growing U.S. Naval–focused DCS coalition built around immersive storytelling, coordinated operations, and a strong sense of camaraderie. This is a group that values teamwork over ego, purpose over chaos, and flying with intent—not just logging flight hours.
Who They Are
CVW-4 is an international air wing made up of pilots ranging from brand-new deck crew to seasoned virtual naval aviators. Their squadrons operate U.S. Navy aircraft with pride, flying missions that balance tactical realism with engaging, story-driven immersion.
This isn’t hardcore milsim—and that’s intentional.
CVW-4 blends real-world naval aviation procedures with moments of creativity, fun, and controlled chaos. You’ll brief smart, fly hard, and still have room to enjoy the experience without drowning in bureaucracy.
Squadrons Now Forming
CVW-4 is actively recruiting pilots into the following squadrons:
VFA-27 “Royal Maces” — F/A-18C Hornet
VF-32 “Fighting Swordsmen” — F-14B Tomcat
Both squadrons emphasize teamwork, communication, and mission cohesion rather than individual stat-chasing.
